Exploration and geology
Geological mapping, pitting, trenching and channel sampling, with samples sent for third party assay. Each prospect produces a written resource note covering grade, indicative tonnage and mining method.
Mining and extraction
Open pit extraction using excavators, loaders and tippers, with drilling and controlled blasting where the rock requires it. Every pit runs to a bench plan, a dewatering plan and a rehabilitation plan.
Processing and grading
Crushing, washing, screening and hand sorting at the Nakonde yard. Zacolite and gemstone material is handled by hand only. Ore is screened to size and graded on assay.
Trading and logistics
Quotation against a written specification, packing to buyer requirement, export documentation, inland haulage and shipment.

Long haul trucking is contracted for corridor runs to port.

Health and safety
Induction before first shift, daily hazard briefings, issued protective equipment, benched and inspected pit walls, licensed blasting only, and a first aid point with a trained responder at each site.
Environment
Rehabilitation planned before a pit opens. Topsoil stored separately for replacement, silt and runoff controlled, haul road dust suppressed, no mercury used in gold recovery.
Host communities
Written agreements with community leadership covering local hiring, water supply, road maintenance and apprenticeship places, with a named liaison officer and a complaints procedure.
Site visits.
Buyer and surveyor inspections at the yard or at loading are arranged through the sales desk.
